Age 90, Luray, Va.
Joyce Ruth Good Butler, 90, of Luray, died on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2021, at Whispering Pines.
She was born on Dec. 20, 1930, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Theodore Good and Delza Campbell Good.
Mrs. Butler was the librarian for more than 30 years at the Page Public Library in Luray. She was a member of the Mount Carmel Regular Baptist Church.
Her husband, Maxwell Yates Butler, died on Oct. 31, 2012.
She is survived by a sister, June Good Mawyer of Luray.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Bolen; and two brothers, H. Wayne and Beverly Good.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 29, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Luray by the Rev. Charles J. Comer.
