Juanita Jean Jenkins Good, 80, of Shenandoah, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 7, 2023, surrounded by family.
She was born on May 9, 1943, in Stanley and was a daughter of the late Jesse Sherman Jenkins and Artie Elizabeth Meadows Jenkins.
Juanita worked as a seamstress for the Elkton Garment Company.
On August 12, 1966, she married Leonard Earl “Pete” Good, who died on February 14, 2016.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Kling and husband Tim, and Stephanie Owens and husband Mike; three sisters, Vontella Lam, Ruth Veney and Frances Reifsnyder; seven grandchildren, Matthew Dillon, Nathan Campbell, Emily Owens, Alexis Hedrick, Holly Owens, Rachel Shifflett and Jesse Campbell; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Betty Blakley, Naomi Hershey, Margaret Wilkerson and Rachel Cubbage; and three brothers, Paul, James and Charles Jenkins.
Private services will be held at a later date.
