Judith Comer Knight, 69, of Shenandoah, Va. passed away on January 21, 2022.
She was born on September 7, 1952 in Page County and was the daughter of the late Wilbur W. and Treva Morris Comer.
Judith was a lifelong resident of Shenandoah. She was a member of the Church of Solsburg and retired from Virginia Coop in Hinton after more than 20 years.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Knight of Elkton; four children, Samantha Nauman of Shenandoah, Jeffrey Hammer of Stanley, Rita Price and husband, Ricky, of Elkton, Carolyn Shifflett and husband, Scott, of McGaheysville; a special nephew, Derrick Hammer of Port Republic; five grandchildren, Bethany Morris, Meghan Eckard, Beronica Price, Dakota Eckard and Brenden Comer; three great grandchildren, Branson and Bentley Morris and Drayden Price; five brothers and two sisters; numerous nieces and nephews; and her dog, Penny.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Samuel Hammer, a sister, and three brothers.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Lindsey-Kyger Funeral Home in Shenandoah with Pastor Clyde Plum and Pastor David Burrell officiating. Burial will be in the Warren Comer Family Cemetery, on Fleeburg Road.
