Age 74, Stanley, Va.
Kenneth “Kenny” Carson Brill, 74, of Stanley, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. He was born on June 11, 1949, in Page County and was a son of the late Clyde Brill and Lillian Hughes Brill.
Kenny attended Freedom Fellowship Church in Broadway, until his health declined.
Kenny was a master welder and worked for a government contractor. He enjoyed watching Nascar and was a devoted Dale Earnhardt fan. He was an avid fan of Chevrolet and before his illness he rebuilt a ’55 Chevrolet truck, which was his pride and joy.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Bonnie Sue Housden Brill; two children, son Joey Brill and wife Judy of Elkton, and daughter Jamie Shifflett and husband John of Shenandoah; two stepdaughters, Tammy Buynar of Stanley, and Candy Tharpe of Salem; a stepson, Donald Good Jr. of Stanley; two grandsons Justin Shifflett and Zachary Brill; five step grandchildren, Brandy Wood, Jessica Buynar, Chalsea Atkinson, Caden Good and Cooper Good; and 10 step great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents and a grandson, Jacob Shifflet.
A viewing for family and friends will be held at the Bradley Funeral Home from 12 to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 17. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at the Leake’s Chapel Cemetery in Stanley, conducted by Pastor Jack Campbell.
