September 16, 1965 — It was a big evening for Page County Democrats and friends last Friday evening at the Page Valley Fairgrounds.
They gathered 1,200 strong in support of Ralph J. Davis and Charles W. Wampler Jr. for the House of Delegates and George Aldhizer II for the State Senate, as well as other candidates for state offices.
A barbecue dinner was supplied by the Luray Ruritan Club.
