November 29, 1962 — Four seniors who played first string basketball last year will lead the action for the Luray Bulldogs in varsity basketball.
Wayne Yowell and Hudson Harlin have both shown much improvement in the guard position while Wayne Nichols and Charles Sandross will see duty either in the center or forward positions.
Three juniors who saw junior varsity experience last year are Ronnie Keyser, Jim Triplett and Mike Noblette. They are joined this year by David Crist and Charles Bauserman to give the squad more depth and strength.
Coach Sam White has picked three 10th graders to play varsity ball this year. They are: Keeler Chapman, Bill Stuever and Randall Level. All three boys are over six feet tall and furnish some badly needed height.
