Age 80, Shenandoah, Va.
Phyllis Ann Grimsley Robertson, 80, a resident of Shenandoah passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Shenandoah on August 15, 1943 and was the daughter of the late Sibert E. and Grace E. Comer Grimsley.
Phyllis was a member of the Shenandoah Pentecostal Holiness Church. She and her husband were owners of Robertson Exterminating and the Shenandoah Florist. She was a volunteer and director for Page One for 37 years.
On September 3, 1960, she married Bruce L. Robertson, Jr., who preceded her in death on August 26, 2012.
She is survived by her sons, Steven Robertson and wife, Marcia of Hampton and Gregg Robertson of Shenandoah; sisters, Elenore Purdham, Frances Turner and Ginny Shifflett all of Shenandoah; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, six brothers preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Shenandoah Pentecostal Holiness Church.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, November 30, 2023 at the church with Larry Sullivan and Pastor Jimmy Kite officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Community Cemetery.
