LURAY, Jan. 4 — Boys and girls basketball games for Luray High School scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 6 and Friday, Jan. 8 have been rescheduled as follows:
• LHS basketball (boys home / girls away) against Strasburg — originally set for Wednesday, Jan. 6 — has been rescheduled for Saturday, Jan. 23 at 1 p.m.
• LHS basketball (girls home / boys away) against Stonewall Jackson — originally set for Friday, Jan. 8 — has been rescheduled for Saturday, Jan. 9 at 1 p.m.
PCHS basketball games scheduled for those original dates remain in tact — Wednesday, Jan. 6 against Stonewall Jackson (boys home – Senior Night / girls away) and Friday, Jan. 8 against Strasburg ( girls home – Senior Night / boys away).
The National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) will be providing livestreams of each home game for each high school. Camera installations are scheduled to place on Friday, Jan. 8 and Monday, Jan. 11.
PVN Sports, a division of Page Valley News, will be working with local schools to provide audio broadcasts to accompany the NFHS livestreams of 14 basketball games this season. The schedule will be released soon. PVN plans to share a portion of any revenues earned through the broadcasts with the high schools.
