Age 73, Shenandoah, Va.
Linda Lou Sampson Yager Adkins, 73, a lifelong resident of Shenandoah passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024.
She was born on February 26, 1950 in Page County and was the daughter of the late Hilda V. Sampson Merica.
Linda attended Page County High School and was a homemaker.
She was married twice; John R. Yager Jr. and Robert D. Adkins, both preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara L. Yager and husband, Jeffery Jewel of Shenandoah; a grandson, Roy (Fred) Lee Woodward; a sister, Bonnie Taylor and husband, John; and a brother, Edward Merica all of Stanley.
A graveside service will be held 4 pm, Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Rest Haven Community Cemetery with Pastor Tracy Shifflett officiating, weather permitting.
Arrangements are being handled by the Lindsey-Kyger Funeral Home in Shenandoah, Va.
