Anita June Foltz, 75, of Harrisonburg, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024. Ms. Foltz was born October 26, 1948, in Harrisonburg and was the daughter of the late Francis Layton and Marie Virginia Kite Foltz. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Judith Ann Foltz; uncle, Richard Kite and aunt, Doris Kite.
Anita graduated from Page County High School and began a career with Reynolds Metal Company that spanned over 27 years. Anita was a faithful member of Mt. Olivet Christian Church in Elkton. She loved to travel and was able to see all 50 states, many areas of the Caribbean and parts of Canada.
Anita is survived by her cousins, Kenny Kite and wife, Anita and Patsy Miller-Cook and husband, Tony, all of Shenandoah. Also surviving are many extended family members, cousins from both the Foltz and Kite families and many close friends including her travel companions.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery in the Grove Hill area of Page County with Pastor Wayne Wright officiating.
