Lindsay Webb Jenkins, 72, of Culpeper, VA., passed away Friday, October 4, 2024, at his residence. He was born May 13, 1952, to the late Fred William and Ethel Mae Howell Jenkins in Page County, Virginia. Lindsay was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church in Boston, VA.
Lindsay was a skilled, well-respected water and sewer foreman. He spent most of his years with S. W. Rodgers Company, Inc. and William A. Hazel, Inc. Lindsay loved the outdoors; camping, hunting, fishing, and gardening. He loved his family most of all, especially his two girls, Jackie and Monica, he was so proud of them.
Lindsay is survived by his wife, Connie Ann Jenkins; children, Jackie Jenkins and Monica Alexander (Stephen); his siblings, Mary Anne Kline, Bonnie Behrendt (Dave), Deborah Saunders, Marjorie Marston, Russell Jenkins, Wayne Jenkins, Sidney Jenkins (Evelyn), Douglas Jenkins, Ruth Jackson and Dee Smith (Ronnie); and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Lindsay is preceded in death by his brothers, Ralph Jenkins, Garfield Jenkins and Freddie Jenkins.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Rev. Steven Harrelson officiating.
