May 5, 1991 — Glenwood “Woodie” May of Shenandoah retired from the U.S. Postal Service Tuesday after 25 years of service. Before being hired by Post Master Leroy Tomney in May 1969, May had been employed by Alliance Manufacturing Company and General Electric in Waynesboro. He also worked part time as clerk and carrier at the post office.
