Page Valley News highlights adoptable pets
from the Page County Animal Shelter to showcase their personality.
This is Boone!
Boone is approximately 4 years old, neutered, and vaccinated. He was brought to the shelter after animal control found him loose with three other hounds, but unfortunately he was never reclaimed.
Boone is an incredibly sweet dog and loves to be by your side, getting attention, loves playing with toys, and getting the zoomies outside. He can’t wait to go out to play with his toys and does the cutest kangaroo hops at the door.
Boone is not house trained so he would need someone who is willing to take the time to house train him. He should be a quick learner however, because he does well during the day while staff is present. He only struggles at nighttime while no one is there.
Boone has had an extended stay after it was discovered that he was suffering from heart worms. But fear not! Boone has completed his treatment, tested negative for heart worms, and is ready to go home with you.
If you’d like to visit with Boone,
please send the shelter an email inquiry or call the Page County Animal Shelter at (540) 778-2101. Please keep an eye out for our email reply. Sometimes they find their way to the spam/junk folder.
