This is Gomer!

Meet Gomer, a vibrant redbone coonhound with a big heart and an even bigger voice! Gomer has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and he’s more than ready to find a forever home that can match his energy and enthusiasm. This handsome hound is a classic goofball — always sporting a goofy grin, a wagging tail, and an eagerness to turn any moment into a party.

Gomer is friendly with everyone he meets and absolutely thrives on attention. He’s happiest when he’s part of the action — whether that’s running around the yard, playing with toys, or greeting you like a long-lost friend every time you walk through the door (even if you’ve only been gone five minutes!). He also loves to “sing” with his signature hound dog bay, which he’ll happily share when he’s excited, happy, or just feeling particularly chatty.

Because of his high energy level, Gomer will do best in a home with a secure, fenced-in yard where he can stretch his long legs and safely explore. He especially loves a good game of tug-of-war, showing off his speed in a good old-fashioned game of chase, or being a great backyard squirrel monitor. Gomer has a heart of gold and a playful spirit that makes every day brighter. If you’re looking for a loyal, silly, and lovable best friend who will keep you laughing (and maybe howling along), Gomer is your guy!
