Meet this sweet, timid boy Harley!
Harley is 5 years old and was an owner surrender to the shelter after some unfortunate tough life decisions his previous owner was put in. Harley is opening up more and more every day and has proven to be quite the good boy!
He loves to be outdoors, but he is not much of a toy man as he will just stare at you like you have two heads and wonder why you threw something. Instead he loves to take his sweet time roaming around the play yard and then likes to go in after doing his usual daily business. He is not a jumper or a hyper dog by any means. He is usually found with his tail tucked and scared of kennel life.
Harley has always had a home with the same person since he was a pup, so no longer having a home like environment has proven to be difficult for this poor boy. Harley is an incredibly sweet boy that needs someone to be patient with him and enjoy his company as much as he will enjoy yours.
He is said to not like other dogs, but has shared a couch with small dogs and did just fine. A hyper-active/reactive dog could become an issue for Harley, but he was tested with a calm dog his size and did ok. He would need to be tested if there is other dogs in the house before being adopted.
Overall Harley is a sweet, timid and laid back boy looking for his fur-ever home. Could it be with you?
