Meet Lyla!

Lyla

~ Submitted by the Page County Animal Shelter

Page Valley News highlights adoptable pets

from the Page County Animal Shelter to showcase their personality.

This is Lyla!

Lyla is an 8-year-old, spayed female. She was brought to the shelter in hopes she could have a better life. Despite her previous owner having raised her since she was just 8 weeks old, Lyla never fully adjusted to the new children in the home. She spent most of her days hiding away and her previous owner wanted to do the right thing for Lyla. So she has come to stay with us until she can find a new loving home.

As to be expected of a delicate and sensitive cat, Lyla has had trouble adjusting to shelter life, as do many other surrendered indoor cats. With a little love and patience, Lyla is sure to bloom into the feline she was always meant to be. In return, she has been patient, polite, and kind to staff despite her unease. This gentle gal is sure to blossom in a quiet and calm household where she can feel safe.

If you’d like to give Lyla a second chance,

please send the shelter an email inquiry or call the Page County Animal Shelter at (540) 778-2101. Please keep an eye out for our email reply. Sometimes they find their way to the spam/junk folder.
