This is Sweet Boy George!
George is approximately 1 to 2 years old and was brought into the shelter by a citizen who found him as a stray. They wanted to hang on to him until an owner came forward, but unfortunately, nobody did. They were no longer able to watch him, so he came into the shelter. The citizen affectionately named him George after the National Forest, where he was found.
George is a sweet, young hound who would do great in a loving home possibly with middle aged kids that love to play, as he loves to play and run around outside. He is a big goofball waiting for his forever home with someone.
George loves to give kisses and to be loved on when he settles down from his zoomies and he loves to get treats from time to time. He is house trained if he is kept on a good daily routine to go outside.
Overall, George is a good, aloof dog barking for someone to take him home and love on him.
If you are interested in meeting George,
please send the shelter an email inquiry or call the Page County Animal Shelter at (540) 778-2101. Please keep an eye out for our email reply. Sometimes they find their way to the spam/junk folder.
