Melinda Williams Putnam, 70, of Stanley, Virginia passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025 at Winchester Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held for Melinda at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Panorama Memorial Gardens, 4917 Strasburg Road, Strasburg, with Sammy Campbell officiating.
Melinda was born in Warren County, Virginia on June 13, 1955 to her late parents, Edgar Francis Browning Williams and Alma Elizabeth Wines Williams.
She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Ted Allen Putnam; her children, Tanya Noble-Marx (Brian), Cory Putnam (Sara), and Amanda Putnam; her grandchildren, Logan, Geordie, Grace, and Natalie; her fur babies that she spoiled rotten, Sabie and Mikey; and numerous extended family members.
Melinda enjoyed fishing, bingo, yard sales, thrift stores, and spending time with friends and family at Hawksbill in Stanley. More than anything, she loved her family.

Arrangements are being handled by the Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal, Va.
