Milnes booming

January 24, 1887 — The Gem Furnace at Milnes, which chilled last fall, was put in blast again last Saturday, giving employment to 600 men. We rejoice at the information. Milnes continues an energetic, enterprising, industrious population, and what contributes to her prosperity helps the whole county. We hope that ‘87 will bring her rich reward for her labor.
