Here’s a rundown of the central Veterans Day activities going on Saturday, Nov. 11 in each of the three towns here in the Page Valley:
LURAY
• 11 a.m. — Miller-Campbell-Baker American Legion Post #22 hosts its annual Veterans Day program at the Post on Zerkel Street in Luray adjacent to Inn Lawn Park. During this program, the Post plans to honor all Gold Star families, along with all Blue Star families from Page County. For those Gold Star and Blue Star families wishing to be so honored, please contact Post #22 Commander at 540-843-2565, or by e-mail to alpost22@yahoo.com.

SHENANDOAH
• 3 p.m. — Town of Shenandoah will host a Veterans Day Service at the Town of Shenandoah Museum and Welcome Center at 507 First Street in Shenandoah. Mayor Clinton Lucas Jr. will lead the annual Veterans Service. For more information, call Events Coordinator Lora Jenkins 540-652-8773.

STANLEY
• 4 p.m. — Town of Stanley will host a Veterans Day ceremony at the Stanley Volunteer Fire Department at 190 East Main Street. (The event was originally scheduled at 11 a.m., but has been moved to 4 p.m.)
