Nolan Dale Jeffries, Sr. age 65 of Luray, Va., died Thursday, August 27, at Page Memorial Hospital in Luray, Va.
He was born on Wednesday, August 24, 1955, in Front Royal, Va., son of the late Morris R. and Viola Marie (Tutt) Jeffries
Dale was the owner and operator of Dale’s Grave Digging for the past 12 years and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
He married Marylin Yvonne (Burrell) Jeffries on September 13, 1976, who survives. Also surviving are son, Nolan Jeffries and daughter, Chasity (Jeffries) Faison; brother, Columbus Howard “Jim” Jeffries and a sister, Sylvia “Sibbie” Jeffries all of Luray; and five grandchildren Aaliyah Jeffries, Lyric Woodward, Jasmine Faison, Jordan Faison, and C.J. Jeffries.
He was preceded in death by brother, Morris “Sonny” Russell Jeffries.
A graveside service will be held at Bundy Family Cemetery noon Monday, August 31.
Masks and social distancing are required at the cemetery, if you choose not to wear a mask you are kindly asked not to attend.

I remember Dale from elementary school…so long ago…He was a good humble man…I was so sorry to hear this…We always greeted each other over the years…I pray for comfort for his family…May God Bless you all…
