LURAY, March 11 — As an off-season boost for an industry that’s been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic, the third annual Page County Restaurant Week is set to kickoff this Sunday, March 14 and run through next Saturday, March 20.
Participating restaurants will feature specials and menu favorites, as well as some new and unique choices all throughout Page County’s three towns. Luray, Shenandoah and Stanley have partnered with the Luray-Page County Chamber of Commerce and the Luray Downtown Initiative for the last three years to help promote local eateries.
“While Restaurant Week is only a week-long, we want to give people an extra reason to eat local from now until the 20th,” Chamber President Gina Hilliard stated in the Chamber’s “In the Loop” newsletter.
The Chamber is hosting a “Lunch On Us Giveaway” to coincide with this year’s event. To enter the contest, email a picture of a meal receipt from a Page County eatery to events@luraypage.com for a chance to win a gift card.
“We will be picking where the gift cards are from, based on which places get the most entries,” Hilliard stated. “This is a great way to not only support our local restaurants but also have a chance at getting some free food, too.”
Entries are accepted through Saturday, March 13. Restrictions apply.
