Paul Eugene Temple, 70, of Luray, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022.
He was born on June 7, 1952, in Washington, D.C., and was a son of the late Kearie Eugene Temple and Gretchen Brandt Temple.
Paul owned and operated East End Automotive, and then worked as a mechanic for Luray Motor Company, Bill Turner Inc. and Huffy’s Automotive. He had also been employed as a delivery driver for Fisher Auto Parts, before retiring. He was a member of the Stanley United Methodist Church.
On Oct. 16, 1990, he married Patricia Lee Dodson Temple, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Wendy Holtzman and husband John, and Krissy Campbell and fiancé Kenny Good; two sisters, Jean Louise Lowman and Deborah Marie Presgraves; a brother, Leigh John Temple; three grandchildren, Brandon Collier, Aaron Breeden and wife Hailey, and Halee Snyder and husband Timmy; and three great-grandsons, Gatlin Snyder, and Bryer and Barrett Breeden.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, at the Stanley United Methodist Church by Pastor Anne Sisson.
The family will receive friends at any time at the Temple residence, 7 East Ridge Lane, Luray.
