December 20, 1962 — Daniel H. Painter, U.S. Department of Agriculture supervisor, inspector in poultry processing plants in Washington, D.C., and a five-state surrounding area, has been presented a Superior Performance Award by S.R. Smith, administrator of USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service.
He received a cash award and a Certificate of Merit in a ceremony in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Painter lives with his wife and children on a farm near Stanley, his native town.
