STANLEY, Oct. 29 — The Community Builder’s Award, one of the most prestigious awards that Virginia Freemasons can award, was recently presented to Stanley Police Chief Ryan Dean for his constant community support.
This year, the members of Magnetic Lodge in Stanley presented the Community Builder’s Award to Chief Ryan Dean at the town’s “Halloween Block Party” on Saturday, Oct. 29. Chief Dean was presented the award in the middle of town, surrounded by the community that he has severed.
Chief Dean celebrated his 28th anniversary of being an officer a few days after receiving the award.
Magnetic Masonic Lodge is located at 100 Masonic Drive, Stanley and was charted in 1875.
