July 29, 1965 — Warren E. Moyer, of Moyer Brothers Canning Company, said this week that the peach crop in Page County was looking good at present. However, he stated it was badly in need of rain.
The company usually begins canning peaches in mid-August. The rainfall received between now and then will greatly determine the outcome of the crop locally.
