Robert Lee “Bobby” Lockhart, 97, of Luray, Virginia died August 6, 2022.
Bobby was born May 16, 1925 in Bentonville, Va. and was the son of the late Vergie & Clarence
Lockhart.
He is predeceased by his wife Mary Ann Lockhart; siblings: Giles, Howard, Clara, Stevie &
Clarence; and two sons: Billy & Robert (Jim or Alfie).
Survived by his daughters Robin Jones (Gordon) of Saluda, VA and Barbara Lester of Edinburg,
VA and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Bobby was a proud WWII veteran who served on the USS Massachusetts. He loved gardening
and as a younger man was a decorated duck pin bowler. He leaves behind many architectural
monuments to his life as he was an accomplished and sought-after brick and stone mason.
Arrangements were handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
