April 5, 1990 — The Page County Planning Commission tabled action Monday night on approving a resort area on Va. 650 south of Stanley pending a committee study of access to the property.
Judy L. Sechrist and Shirley A. Sechrist Willis of Paris, owners of over 90 acres, have applied for a special use permit. The property is currently zoned agricultural and according to the county zoning ordinance, a lodge, club or outdoor recreation area and facilities are allowed in agricultural areas by special use.
The complex, which would be called Shenandoah Lodge and Resort, would include a 64-by-88-foot tri-level lodge, a restaurant and eight cabins.
