March 9, 1911 — Mr. F.E. Stover has contracted for the lighting and water plants at Skyland, and will begin work as soon as the material arrives, which will require some three or four car loads.
The lighting plant will have a three hundred light capacity, including the lighting of the park with street lamps. The water works will consist of a 23,000 gallon tank, which will be ample for fire protection and all domestic purpose.
Skyland is getting to be the pride of Page, and the progressive [George] Pollock is its prophet, priest and only potentate.
