Sitting in a bucket, atop the ladder truck of the Luray Volunteer Fire Department, Santa seems to be practicing appropriate social distancing during the Luray Christmas Parade along Main Street on Saturday, Dec. 12.
The “reverse” parade allowed onlookers to drive past parked floats along Main Street, from Broad Street to a block short of the East Luray Shopping Center. Dozens and dozens of cars crept through several blocks of floats decorated by local churches, civics groups and nonprofit organizations.
More photos from Saturday’s parade appear in our Photo Gallery.
With COVID-19 cases rising across the country, across the state, within our health district and even within our own county, we ask each of you to practice social distancing, wash your hands, wear masks and be safe during this holiday season. Merry Christmas to all our readers from Page Valley News!
