December 21, 1961 — The membership of St. Mark Lutheran Church voted last Sunday to add an education building to its present facilities on East Main at an estimated cost of $110,000.
The successful plan contemplates the demolition of the present Sunday school building in the east wing and the construction of a modern Sunday school building with approximately 11,000 sq. feet of floor area.
St. Mark’s congregation has been accumulating funds for the past six years to carry out expansion plans.
