Stacey Lynn Keller, 44, of Stanley, Va. passed away on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021. Stacey was born on April 20, 1977, in Luray and was the daughter of Robert Edward “Bobby” Jr., and Sandra Faye Freeze Alger.
Stacey was employed with Merillat Industries in Mount Jackson, Va. She was a kind, generous and big-hearted person that loved helping others. A proud mother and grandmother, Stacey was most happy when she knew her family was well taken care of. She liked collecting snowmen, painting, vacationing at the beach and being with her dog, Axl.
In addition to her parents, Stacey is survived by a daughter, Emily Tyminski of Clarksville, Tenn.; a son, Aaron Keller of Luray, Va.; five sisters; Bobbie Jo Comer of Westminster, Md., Victoria Alger of Luray, Jennifer Kline, Ashley Moore and Monica Morris, all of Stanley; a granddaughter, Ava Tyminski; numerous nieces and nephews and two great-nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021, at Riverview Independent Gospel Church in Stanley.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, at the church, 259 Wampler Drive in Stanley, with Pastor Jeff Lucas officiating. The burial will follow at Leake’s Chapel Cemetery in Stanley.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
Arrangements are being handled by the Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg, Va.
