STANLEY, Dec. 7 — Town of Stanley officials reported a large turnout for their annual parade and other “Christmas in Stanley” events held along Main Street and at Ed Good Park on Saturday, Dec. 4. This year’s event included activities at the park following the parade, including photos with Santa and a new tradition of a tree lighting.
A large vendor show was held at the Stanley Fire Department earlier in the day, as volunteers with the fire department sold apple butter.
