February 8, 1889 — Mr. HP. Printz and children, of Luray, are spending several weeks with the family of Mr. Leonard S. Printz, near this place.
Mr. Jonas Varner, one of our best citizens, has been quite indisposed for several days.
When the 150 lots on top of the Blue Ridge at Stony Man each have a handsome cottage upon them, and when the big hotel is built, won’t we have a city up there? The company appears to have plenty of money, and we hope ever more will be done then is contemplated. Two new roads are spoken of to reach this place — one the old road up the mountain, and the other from Milan’s Gap along on top.
