March 11, 1965 — The Page County Board of Supervisors in an otherwise routine session here Monday of this week, unanimously adopted a resolution approving and urging the establishment of a post high school technical college at the Beef Cattle Research Station near Front Royal.
The school would be designed to serve students who live generally within a 30- to 35-mile radius of the location.
It was the opinion of the Board that the establishment of such a college in this area will offer incalculable opportunities to the young people and many adults of the county to further their education.
A copy of the resolution was ordered sent to the State Board of Technical Education.
