LHS sophomore Amber Tharpe takes the pass from Emilee Weakley and hits a three-pointer as time expires last Thursday night to win the Region 2B semifinal over Page. Tharpe only had three points on the night, but that one shot will go down in Luray lore. The Bulldogs claimed the Region 2B title over Strasburg, 59-58, two days later. Luray plays in the first round of the VHSL 2A state tournament 6:30 Friday at PCHS versus Poquoson.
