September 13, 1962 — According to a release from Shenandoah, a “considerate” thief, who took a new 1962 Chevrolet belonging to Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Comer last Thursday, telephoned Mr. Comer Tuesday morning to tell them where he had left the automobile in Arlington.

It seems that Mr. Comer parked his car in front of the Jones Grocery in Shenandoah last Thursday and went into the store where he remained about five minutes. He returned to find his car missing.

Tuesday morning of this week The Comers and Deputy Sheriff A. Lee Huffman went to Arlington and recovered the vehicle.
