September 29,1887 — During the past 30 days thieves have been on the rampage in the neighborhood of Marksville.
Mr. J.M. Dovel has had 22 turkeys stolen, Mr. Samuel Buracker 25 chickens, and Mr. Emanuel Synder’s coop was robbed of a number.
Mr. Dovel says others may do as they please, but as for himself he intends to give them a warm reception if they visit his premises again.
