Age 76, Rileyville, Va.
Thomas Harry Lansberry, 76, of Rileyville, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022.
He was born on Dec. 8, 1945, in Stanley and was a son of the late Harry R. Lansberry and Margaret Pearl Nauman Lansberry.
Thomas worked as a mechanic for Page County Public Schools, retiring in 2016 with 25 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in Vietnam. He was a member of the Rileyville Trinity Church, the Rileyville Rec Center and the Rileyville Cemetery Association.
On Nov. 6, 1965, he married Joan Dianne Triplett Lansberry, who died on April 26, 2015.
He is survived by three daughters, Teresa Lynn Good and husband Jeff of Stanley, Tammy Doyle and husband Tom of Rileyville, and Tracy D. Tester and husband Kevin, also of Stanley; a sister, Doris A. Lansberry of Rileyville; four grandchildren, Liam and Lakelyn Tester, Michael Doyle and wife Rebecca, and James Doyle; and three great-grandchildren, Daniel, Carson and Blakelynn Doyle.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul Howard, Aubrey Lee and James M. Lansberry.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27, at the Rileyville Trinity Church by Garland “Bubba” Gochenour and Pastor Andy Seastrom. Burial will be in the Rileyville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25, at the Lansberry residence at 956 Rileyville Road, and from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday Sept. 26, at the Bradley Funeral Home.
