Timothy Ralph Painter, 63, of Luray, Va. passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022.
He was born on April 26, 1958, in Luray and was a son of the late James Medford “Med” Painter and Mildred Bradley Painter.
On Oct. 20, 1979, Timothy married Donna Clatterbuck Painter, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Timothy Ralph “T.J.” Painter Jr. and wife Barbie of Stanley; a daughter, Ashley Painter and fiancé Alex Dean of Luray; three brothers, Craig L. and James L. Painter, both of Luray, and Phillip M. Painter of Stanley; a sister, Theresa S. Newberry of Richmond; and four grandchildren, Mackenzie Painter, Makayla Painter, Chance Dean and Haydn Dean.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry A. “Cotton” Painter; and a sister, Constance A. Painter.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 14, at the Bradley Funeral Home by Elder James Painter and Pastor Andy Seastrom. Burial will be in the Leaksville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses.
