Tony Lee Cubbage, 71, of Stanley, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
He was born on April 26, 1954, in Stanley and was a son of the late Rufus Franklin Cubbage and Elva Blanche Lucas Cubbage.
Tony had served as a pastor for several years.
On August 8, 1972, he married Linda Sue Rush Cubbage, who survives.
In addition to his wife, Tony is survived by three brothers, Johnny Cubbage of Stanley, Mark Cubbage of Harrisonburg, and Matthew Cubbage of Hickory, NC; two sisters, Joyce McDonald of Elkton, and Virginia Ray of Stanley; and his nephews and nieces, Terri Lynn Painter, Carlton McDonald, Justin Cubbage, Daryl Ray, Eric Cubbage, Phil Cubbage, Jason Cubbage, Carolyn Sue Lucas, Angie Cubbage and Crystal McDonald.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Steven Cubbage, Delmas Cubbage, Ralph Cubbage and Jimmy Cubbage.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24, at the Stanley New Hope Pentecostal Church.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25, at the church by Pastor Randy Miller and Pastor Bobby Jenkins. Burial will be in the Calvary Independent Brethren Cemetery in Stanley.
Arrangements are being handled by the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
