January 21, 1993 — A 17-year-old Luray High School senior is in Washington, D.C. today — not sight-seeing — but at the White House.
Clay Gordon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walt Gordon of Luray, was one of 1,000 lucky persons selected through a lottery drawing sponsored by the National Park Service to spend a day at the White House and meet the President.
