Age 70, Leesburg, Va.
Victoria Lee “Vicki” Leap, 70, of Leesburg and formerly of Elkton, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025, after a year-long cancer journey.
Vicki was born December 9, 1954, in Harrisonburg and was the daughter of the late Leroy M. and Norma Rau Leap.
She spent her childhood years in Elkton, was a 1973 graduate of Elkton High School and attended William & Mary. Vicki was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Shenandoah and a woman of strong faith.
Vicki enjoyed a long career in the hospitality and food service industry including locations in FL, CO, TN and VA. Most recently, she was a Food Service Manager at Ashby Ponds, a retirement community in Ashburn, VA. Prior to her return to VA, Vicki served as an Executive Regional Vice-President for Chili’s Restaurant and lived in Brentwood, TN. Vicki was an avid pet lover and in her free time enjoyed entertaining, reading, going to the beach and spending time with her family.
Vicki is survived by brothers, Tom Leap and wife, Heather (Olivia, Jaida, Celia), Mickey Leap and wife, Nancy (Alex and Jami), and Billy Leap and wife, Renee (Mitchell, Parker); five great nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Christ United Methodist Church in Shenandoah. Prior to the memorial service, a private burial will occur at the Elk Run Cemetery in Elkton.
Arrangements are being handled by the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton, Va.
