September 4, 1890 — Upwards of $15,000 having been subscribed, the stockholders of the proposed wood working factory met last Wednesday evening and organized. Much enthusiasm prevailed and the company is very sanguine of success.
The company proposes to manufacture all kinds of building material, furniture, hubs, spokes, etc. The Land Company subscribed $7,000 to the capital stock and gives ample grounds for the work.
The directors are H.V. Hudson, John H. Read, A. Broaddus, C.H. Grove, T.W. Lillard, T.E. Schwartz, Judge Brand and S.J. Richey. The directors meet tonight to elect a president, secretary, treasurer, manager, etc.
