FRONT ROYAL — During the Labor Day holiday weekend of Sept. 4-7, the NOVA 4-H Center in Front Royal will host its second Family Camp. With plenty of space to spread out, participants can enjoy the fellowship of family and the camaraderie of friends.

Family Camp includes three nights of lodging in private rooms in one of two lodging options, seven family-style meals prepared by the 4-H Center’s chef staff, unlimited access to the self-led family recreational acticvity options at the Center, and evening program options led by staff.

As an added bonus, postponed Independence Day fireworks are rescheduled for Saturday night, and the lodge balconies (open only to family campers) will be available for viewing.

To ensure the public health of all 4-H Center campers, employees and other users, the Center is strictly adhering to state COVID-19 requirements and federal CDC guidelines for camps. Therefore, all Family Campers are asked to bring and wear facial coverings in lodge hallways, entering/exiting the dining hall, and any other times that social distancing cannot be maintained, indoors or outdoors.

Additionally, limited outdoor seating options will be available for all meals and indoor dining will adhere to Virginia’s Phase III reopening requirements.
