Age 99, Port Charlotte, Fla.
Arlene McIlwee Jobe, 99, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
She was born on September 22, 1924, in Winchester and was a daughter of the late Daniel Webster McIlwee and Pearl Elizabeth Parish McIlwee.
On June 26, 1948, Arlene married Kenneth L. Jobe, who died on February 27, 1980.
She is survived by two daughters, Susan Donaldson and husband Dennis of Port Charlotte, FL, and Sherry Silvious and husband Mark of Luray; a son, Gregory Jobe and wife Lesly of Kissimmee, FL; three grandchildren, Steve, Diane and Zach; and two great-grandchildren, Steven and Callahan.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Gordon McIlwee; and a sister, June Richards.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, at the Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery in Luray.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in remembrance of Arlene to the Page County Senior Center’s Meals on Wheels program.
Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
