LURAY, March 1 — Members of a grand jury in Page County Circuit Court last week issued a true bill on a total of 50 indictments handed down March 1 on charges placed among 34 individuals.
Those indicted by the March 1 grand jury include:
• Christopher Aaron Burgamy, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 3 felony for administering or attempting to poison another. The offense occurred on June 15, 2022, according to court records, with no arrest date listed. Burgamy is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 for a hearing.
• George Louis Guida, of Luray, Va., was indicted on two Class 6 felonies for eluding or disregarding police and destruction of property valued at more than $1,000; and three Class 1 misdemeanors for obstruction of justice/resisting arrest without force, driving under a revoked or suspended license, and disorderly conduct. The offense and an arrest for three of the charges — eluding, obstructing and driving on a revoked or suspended license — occurred on Nov. 22, 2022, according to court records. The destruction and disorderly conduct offenses occurred on Jan. 11, 2023, according to court records, with no arrest date listed. Guida was scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 8 for a hearing.
• Henry Holcomb, of Pulaka, Fla. was indicted on a Class 6 felony on a registration violation for a Tier III sex offender. The offense occurred on July 15, 2022, according to court records, with an arrest date of Nov. 9, 2022. Holcomb is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 for a hearing.
• Brandon Shey Matics, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 6 felony for possession of a firearm at a school. The offense and an arrest occurred Sept. 14, 2022, according to court records. Matics is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 for a hearing.
• Tony Lee Tilley, of Dayton, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug, a Class 6 felony for the possession of a gun (on person) while in the possession of a Schedule I/II drug, and a Class 1 misdemeanor for carrying a concealed weapon. All three offenses occurred on Jan. 29, 2021, according to court records, with an arrest date of Jan. 30, 2021. Tilley is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 for further proceedings.
• Ricky Lynn Good, of Stanley, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for the possession of a Schedule I/II drug, and a Class 1 misdemeanor for shoplifting or altering merchandise valued at less than $1,000. The offense occurred on Jan. 19, 2023, according to court records, with no arrest date listed. Good is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 for a hearing.
• Joseph Wayne Gray Jr., of Stanley, Va., was indicted on two Class 5 felonies for the possession of a Schedule I/II drug, a Class 6 felony for eluding or disregarding police, and a Class 1 misdemeanor for “RD-Generally”. The offense and an arrest for one drug possession charge occurred on July 13, 2022, according to court records. The other three offenses and an arrest occurred on Feb. 8, 2023. Gray is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 for further proceedings.
• Jacklyn Kay Beamer, of Luray, Va. was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug, and two Class 2 misdemeanors for possession of a Class IV drug. All three offenses occurred on Aug. 8, 2022, according to court records, with an arrest date of Oct. 24, 2022. A capias warrant was issued for Beamer’s arrest and a capias hearing was set for 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.
• Terry James Harrison Jr., of Stanley, Va., was indicted on two Class 5 felonies for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The first offense occurred on Aug. 21, 2022, according to court records, with an arrest date of Oct. 27, 2022. The offense and an arrest for the second charge occurred on Feb. 13, 2023. Harrison is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 for a hearing.
• Russell J. Venner, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug, and a Class 1 misdemeanor for unauthorized possession of a vehicle inspection sticker. Both offenses and an arrest occurred on Sept. 9, 2022, according to court records. Venner is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 for further proceedings.
• Crystal Renay Stallard, of Luray, Va., was indicted on two Class 5 felonies for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest on the first charge occurred on Feb. 15, 2022, according to court records. The second offense and an arrest occurred on Oct. 31, 2022. Stallard was scheduled to appear in court again at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 to file pre-trial motions.
• Janice Lee Campbell, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on Oct. 26, 2022, according to court records. Campbell is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 for a hearing.
• Brian Lee Caplinger, of Bridgewater, Va., was indicted on a Class 6 felony for violation of a protective order (stalking). The offense occurred on June 30, 2022, according to court records, with no arrest date listed. Caplinger is listed as a fugitive, and a capias warrant has been issued for his arrest.
• Lisa Gayle Durham, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug, and a Class 1 misdemeanor for failure to appear in court. The drug offense occurred on Aug. 8, 2022, according to court records, with an arrest date of Dec. 9, 2022. A capias warrant was issued for her arrest on the failure to appear on March 1. Durham is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 for a hearing.
• Michael Todd Foltz, of Shenandoah, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on Oct. 31, 2022, according to court records. Foltz is scheduled to appear in court again at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2023 for a four-hour jury trial.
• Destiny Rose Holland, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on Oct. 26, 2022, according to court records. Holland is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 for a hearing.
• Augusta Lynn Kennedy (a.k.a. – [last names] Leonard, Steele), of Cross Junction, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense occurred on April 3, 2018, according to court records, with an arrest date of Nov. 28, 2022. Kennedy is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 for a hearing.
• Isaiah William Lam, of Harrisonburg, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense occurred on March 16, 2022, according to court records, with an arrest date of June 15, 2022. Lam is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 for a hearing.
• Travis Jordan Matics, of Shenandoah, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense occurred on Sept. 16, 2022, according to court records, with an arrest date of Nov. 29, 2022. Matics is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 for a hearing.
• Douglas Allen McDaniel Sr., of Shenandoah, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on Aug. 22, 2022, according to court records. McDaniel is scheduled to appear in court again at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 for a status hearing.
• Jason Leon McGonigal, of Stanley, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense occurred on June 24, 2022, according to court records, with an arrest date of Sept. 5, 2022. McGonigal is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2023 for a four-hour jury trial.
• Gracie Marie Meadows, of Grottoes, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on Sept. 10, 2022, according to court records. Meadows is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 for a hearing.
• Patrick Bishop Munson, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on Nov. 1, 2022, according to court records. Munson is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 for a hearing.
• Bryan Christopher Owen, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on Nov. 14, 2022, according to court records. Owen was scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 6, 2023 for a hearing.
• Anthony Glenn Payton Jr., of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on Dec. 23, 2022, according to court records. Payton is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 for a hearing.
• Beth Marie Phillips, of Harrisonburg, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on Sept. 26, 2022, according to court records. No future court appearance was listed.
• Holly Odessa Printz, of Stanley, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense occurred on Aug. 10, 2022, according to court records, with an arrest date of Nov. 2, 2022. Printz is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 for a hearing.
• Robert Russo Jr., of Stanley, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on Oct. 8, 2022, according to court records. Russo is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 for a hearing.
• Shawn Anthony Seal, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense occurred on Oct. 24, 2022, according to court records, with an arrest date of Oct. 25, 2022. Seal is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 for a hearing.
• Samantha Marie Shenk, of Shenandoah, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense occurred on Nov. 3, 2021, according to court records, with an arrest date of Aug. 20, 2022. Shenk is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 for a one-day jury trial.
• Sabrina Leigh Silvious, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on Aug. 1, 2022, according to court records. Silvious was scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 for a hearing.
• Lisa F. Spiker, of Front Royal, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on Aug. 27, 2022, according to court records. No future court appearance was listed.
• Damien Rex Thompson, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense occurred on July 8, 2022, according to court records, with an arrest date of Aug. 30, 2022. Thompson is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 for a hearing.
• Jami Lynn Wood (a.k.a. – Jami Lynn Miller), of McGaheysville, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on Oct. 27, 2022, according to court records. Wood is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 for a hearing.
Grand jury hearings are held the first Wednesday of each month in Page County Circuit Court.
