July 27, 1964 — Another carload of Blue Bell’s world famous Wrangler dungarees was shipped last Friday to one of their customers on the west coast. This is just one of the many shipments of dungarees, produced in the local area by local people, which are shipped each day to all parts of the United States and to many foreign countries.
During the past several weeks, Blue Bell has made shipments from Luray of garments manufactured in its valley plants, destined to such far-away places as Australia, Malaysia, South Africa, Iceland, Thailand, Kuwait, Sweden, France, South America, The Netherlands Antilles, and even to Hong Kong, as well as to its subsidiaries in Belgium, West Germany, England and Canada.
