March 22, 1990 — The trunk line from Stanley to Luray is complete and Adelphia Cable customers in the county seat should begin to be switched over to an expanded system as early as this week, according to general manager James Kitchen.

Luray is the last of Page County’s three towns to be hooked onto the expanded system which features a 60-channel capacity with 42 active services, including five pay channels.

Currently, Luray customers receive 23 basic and three pay services on the older, 36-channel set-up.

“We should start connecting people by the end of this week,” Kitchen said Monday.
