Page County High School senior Ricky Campbell has now put himself among the basketball elite in Panther Nation as he surpassed 1,000 career points on the road at Luray Friday night. Campbell hit the milestone after nailing three consecutive three-pointers against the Bulldogs in a 64-57 win to cap off the regular season. The senior had a game-high 28 points in the win.
The fourth-seeded Panthers fell to Madison, 67-37, in the first round of the Bull Run District tournament on Monday night. Page now awaits its seeding for the Region B tournament, which starts Tuesday, Feb. 22.
